More Photos from Aunt Anne

Here are some more photos taken by Aunt Anne with her high end camera (I'm quite envious).

Included is a whole series of Ben eating bananas for the first time (I love that little grin with the tongue poking out).

Half Birthday

Ben is now six months old. He's eating sweet potatoes and bananas (both of which he loves) and rice cereal (which he doesn't much like). He rolls around all over the floor and is good at using his tummy as a Lazy Susan to spin toward a toy.

Ben just had his six-month pediatric appointment, and our extremely mellow doctor told us "he's big" and "hmmm, he's interesting." Our doctor is the calmest man I've ever met in my life. He only smiles and shows mild emotion if Ben smiles at him. I suppose his unflappability might get on my nerves if Ben were plagued with ailments, but as he's not, the doctor's calm is pleasantly contagious. (The pediatrician also has the same name as the director of Twin Peaks, but we haven't noted any commonalities yet.)

Visit from Aunt Anne and Uncle Scott

Aunt Anne and Uncle Scott visited Ben this week. They had a hankering for snow and their cute nephew.

We stopped by the Portland Head Light for a photo op:
Ickie, Anne, and Scott went snowshoeing on Bradbury Mountain (I'm told they are supposed to be looking macho here):
Ben and I stayed home and read The Snowy Day instead of snowshoeing:
And Ben ate some of his auntie's long, shiny hair:
