Adding to the Quaintness

Apparently our yellow house in Maine wasn't charming enough and Ickie wasn't busy enough staying up with an infant all night, so he bought and installed a front porch swing. It was useful today when Ben got a bit fussy.

Birthday

Big Ben was born August 20th at 12:55 am. He was 9 pounds, 11 ounces and about 22 inches long. He was born via C section and we spent about a week in the hospital for my recovery. Ben is perfect: pink as a strawberry and a prodigy at breastfeeding.

Nursery Art

Here are the pictures I copied from the book Uncle (illustrated by Quentin Blake), watercolored, and framed for The Kid's nursery. His nursery walls are painted khaki brown, the furniture is white, and the linens are mint green.

Basketball Belly

Tomorrow The Kid will be two weeks past his due date, so if I don't go into labor this weekend, I'm scheduled for an induction on Monday. In the meantime, my tummy keeps getting bigger and rounder, so here's a look back at how I've grown along with my boy.
